iPad Pro suddenly won't connect to home wifi

Hello. I was out of town with my iPad Pro, and using the wifi at the same hotel I've stayed at many times.

Now I'm home and the iPad won't connect to my home wifi and this has never happened before.

My MacBook Pro, my iPhone 13 Pro, my Apple Watch Ultra, and my wife's MacBook Air which were all also on the same trip and hotel wifi connected as soon as we walked back into our house.

I've tried a hard reset and reset network settings on the iPad Pro, no luck. I also was able to connect to my phone's hotspot with it.

Any suggestions, advice, help? Thanks.

Troubleshooting iPad WiFi:

A. Delete a VPN:

VPN is a common a culprit. So, disconnect from it, unless required for work, school, and such.


B. Start Here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t Connect to a Wi-Fi Network - Apple Support


C. Clear Temporary Internet Files:

If Wifi is disconnecting, try clearing out your Temporary Internet FilesHistoryCache, and CookiesGo Here: Clear your Safari Browser History and Set Up Content Blockers on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


D. Report this to Apple:

Did you just update your device?

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPad - Apple
  2. Comment: that it is after installing the update when the issue began
  3. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary

You have already conducted a Forced Restart and Reset Network Settings without any positive results. One other thing that you may try is to reboot your Wi-Fi Router. Unplug the Router from the wall and plug it back in after 45 seconds. Give it another 5 minutes for the Router to boot and begin broadcasting the Wi-Fi Network. You can then try and connect the iPad back to that Wi-Fi Network.
