Getting Photo App in Macbook Pro to read photos on iPhone that it thinks it has already downloaded. Therefore won't bring them up on the screen to download, even though when searching through the various albums the photos in question are not present.

MacBook Pro 15″, OS X 10.11

Use Image Capture to download to a folder on the Desktop any or all of the photos you want to import to your library.
