I don’t know my 4 digit code - on my 3rd try

Four digit code for what exactly?

For an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you, yourself, had to setup the 4 digit passcode to unlock a device when setting it up, as such only you can possibly know what it is. There is no way for anyone else to know or give you this passcode.

If you don't remember it, then you will need to restore the device back to factory settings, and set up a new passcode.
