Apple TV audio drop outs.

We just signed up for Apple TV. Problem we’re having is the audio feed drops out for a couple of seconds, quite regularly, while watching a show. Bloody annoying! Before I delete my subscription, has anyone else experienced this issue and, if so, found a fix? Thanks in advance.

If you are experiencing audio dropouts on your Apple TV, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the audio cables: Make sure that all of the audio cables are securely plugged in and that there are no loose connections. If you are using an HDMI cable, try using a different cable to see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the audio settings: On your Apple TV, go to Settings > Audio and Video and make sure that the correct audio output is selected. If you are using an external speaker system, make sure that it is turned on and that the correct input is selected.
  3. Restart the Apple TV: Try restarting your Apple TV by going to Settings > System > Restart. This can sometimes help to resolve temporary issues.
  4. Update the software: Make sure that your Apple TV is running the latest version of tvOS. Go to Settings > System > Software Updates and check for any available updates.
  5. Reset the Apple TV: If none of the above steps work, you may want to try resetting your Apple TV to its factory settings. Go to Settings > System > Reset and select "Reset All Settings". This will erase all of your settings and data, so be sure to back up any important data before doing this.
