My son uses a usb-c to 3.5m Jack adapter with his headphones for his iPad. It has started to crackle and distort the sound. Headphone work fine with other devices. It is only with iPad. Only had adapter for 4 months so disappointed at price if I need to get another after such a short period of time.

If this adapter is an Apple adapter, accessories carry a one-year limited warranty the might help in this situation.
Does the adapter work with any other headphones? Or is everything you plugging having a problem?
