I purchased an iPhone X with a broken screen, I had the screen replace and now the phone says Apple ID locked, how do I get past this?

Unfortunately, it appears that you’ve purchased - and then paid to repair - an activation locked device.

ONLY with the cooperation of the previous owner can this be resolved.
