Archived mail
I deleted ALL archived mail on my iphone; this emptied my Gmail addresses completely! Is there a way to recover the deleted archived mail?

Not from the phone, no. Open your gmail account in a browser. Check the trash there. The "archive" in gmail is actually ALL of your mail.
