My touchbar went black

I noticed that my Mac Book Pro M1 touch bar went black. The buttons are working but it is completely black.

I have tried restarting and shutting down the computer.

On the M1 the best you can do in an effort to resolve the issue—

A SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies



No resolve it typically indicates a hardware issue—


Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple


Outside the USA

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
