Return/exchange unused ipad air which passed return date

Hi all,

I am in a huge dilemma regarding an ipad air 5. It was a gift for me and I was free to return/exchange

I travel a lot for work so I realised pretty late about some features I would need more in this ipad and its not something I would want to use for an year and buy another.

But it is more than a month now and it is completely unused. What option do I have to not suffer loss.

Also I don’t want to trade in as the price is too less for such a brand new product.

Please advice.
