Printing long handwritten notes

I use Apple notes a lot, and sometime I'd like to save them to different folders or print them. When printing, however, only the first "page" of a long note will print, cutting off the remainder of the note. Is there a way to paginate a long handwritten note and print onto multiple pages? Exporting to pdf will export the entire note, but if it is long, the only way I have found to print it is to shrink the note to fit one page, which makes the handwriting unusably small with a long note.

I was getting frustrated with this too, but testing the iOS Print works. It seems this is a bug on the desktop MacOS where the Export to PDF or Print options gets the number of pages right, but only one of the pages will have a cropped section of the handwritten notes.

But if you use the iOS method then it does actually slice the notes onto multiple pages fine. SO I guess this is the workaround (saving to iCloud desktop so it's available on the Mac).

Creating a multi-page PDF document directly from the Notes App is relatively simple…

Using the Share button at the top of the Notes window (i.e., the square with an upward-pointing arrow), you can access the Share Sheet. From the Share menu, select Print to open the Print Options dialogue page - at the left of which you will see thumbnail images of each page of your Notes file. Before proceeding, refine the page-layout and scaling.

Next, use a two-finger zoom gesture (the reverse of a two-finger pinch) on any of the thumbnail images; this will open a print preview page. At the top of this page is another Share button; tap the Share button to open the Share menu (at the top you’ll, see that it says “PDF Document”).

From the second Share menu, select Save To Files (choosing the path/location of your choice) - or select Print.

This method of creating PDF documents works for every App that has a Share button. The description of the procedure is considerably more complex than the action itself.
