Getting rid of McAfee Popups

If the previous suggestion doesn't do the trick give this a try: download and run the free version of Malwarebytes. It is designed to find and remove adware and malware. It was developed by a long time contributor to these forums and a highly respected member of the computer security community. 

Try going to Safari Settings, Click the Websites tab, Pop-up Windows, remove everything listed there.
