iPhone screen goes black when I swipe up

My phone is going black with a loading circle thing every time I swipe up. This is so annoying and my phone won't work, I think it's because I have no storage but how am I to upgrade my storage if I can't get to another app

this exact thing is happening RIGHT NOW and it’s bc we have no storage and i don’t want to update it to ios.17 bc it looks bad but i prolly need to i need to delete photos but i can’t get into a different app without fighting w my phone to get out of it

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 

• How much free storage space do you have on your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here, you will see the available storage space on your iPhone. Ensure that you have at least 10GB+ free on your iPhone.

• What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance.
