Merging Apple IDs - more info

I have two apple ID's after Apple failed to recognise googlemail.com shortening to gmail.com and set me up anew.

I didnt notice this for several years, and have purchases split across two IDs now.

Do Apple at least consolidate purchases of 2 Apple IDs clearly owned by the same person to 1 Apple ID so I can delete the duplicate?

Thankss

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.

👉 You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.

Merging Apple accounts (IDs) is not officially supported. Apps and media bought with one ID are permanently associated with that ID. However, on a positive note, you should look into using Family Sharing to continue to be able to use items purchased with one Apple ID with other Apple IDs, and for some data sharing features.
