I want to update my iOS

When you decide to update an iPhone, you'll always get the latest iOS version supported by the device model (now 16.5).

You can update your iPhone to iOS 16.5 by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update and installing the particular update.

Make sure your iPhone has

• charged to at least 50%
• preferably connected to the charger
• disabled any VPNs
• disabled Low Power Mode
• connected to a fast, reliable Wi-Fi
• at least 6GB of free storage

iOS 15.7.6 is not compatible with iPhone SE 2 because it was succeeded by iOS 16. iOS 15.7.6 is only compatible with older iPhones that do support iOS 15 but do not support iOS 16: iPhone 6S, 7 and SE 1, and iPod touch 7.
