My SONY WH-CH510 wont connect to my iPad

Got the 10th generation ipad recently and i’ve tried to connect it to my frequently used headphones, that work perfectly with my iphone, and it won’t connect. the headphones themselves will not appear on the available bluetooth devices. I’m lost on what to do

Many Bluetooth devices must be reset before they can be paired with a another device. All will have pairing procedure - that will be outlined within its User Guide.
