Ventura iMac Display Calibrator Assistant

I have tried calibrating the monitor of my 2017 iMac 27" (Ventura 13.4) using the Apple Display Calibrator Assistant. However, it skips the 'Set Up' step, and I am unable to adjust the brightness of my monitor. It goes from 'Introduction' and skips to 'Target White Point'. Is this normal? How can I adjust the brightness using Apple's calibration app? Thank you.

When you select "Customize…" from the Color Profile menu, once it opens, hold the option key when hitting +.
