Cannot add a Godaddy email to Apple mail

For problem accounts if no resolve delete the account and add it back in.

It is due to you operating system. One of the recent updates meant that mail can’t support godaddy server I believe everything prior to Mojave is now incompatible. Update your iOS and surely it will work again

I had a similar issue where the response from Apple Mail was unable to add because it "Failed to Authenticate" and no matter how many times I reset my password or deleted the account it wouldn't work. I ultimately got it to work again by:

-Removing the 2FA for authenticator from GoDaddy

-Adding to Chrome "Allowed to UseJAVA Script"

Then going to Mail and adding the account again.

I was having the same issue. I got mine to work however.

what I found that worked was logging into the godaddy email website. then make sure everything was working properly there I went back over to apple and was able to log in. there was some sort of authentication or password change i missed from before.

I am having the same issue.
