Hi birdgrey,

welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.

Re: "I am having trouble using screen saver. I can not change the pre loaded pictures".

Wondering which MacBook Air model you are using, and which MacOS version is installed.

Eg: For MacOS Ventura: see Apple support's online articles to customize the screen saver:

Use a screen saver on your Mac - Apple Support

and

Change Screen Saver settings on Mac - Apple Support

Else: With Mac OS Monterey:

Seems there are no options for adding / removing screensavers, as they seem to be part of the system.

Click: Apple Menu > System Preferences > Desktop and ScreenSaver > ScreenSaver

Click the small (?) question mark at bottom right for info. on what's possible.

ie: You change the picture by simply selecting the one you want from the left pane. Your selection previews.

All the best :-)
