How can I access my Apple ID if I lost my phon and I forgot the password and my account is locked? Do I have the wait for the password recovery days?

I lost my iPhone and I was trying to locate it but I forgot my password and I tried to log in but the account got locked so now I have to wait 20 days to recover the password. I feel like they should make it someway to surpass that cuz it’s too much of a wait time, even if we put all the information they ask. So now I can’t find my phone until 20 days.
