There weren't any 2014 Cinema Displays. The only standalone display that Apple was selling in 2014 was the 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display (which was introduced in 2011).

If you are referring to the LED Cinema Display (24-inch) sold between October 2008 and July 2010, it was a Mini DisplayPort display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. So you'd want a USB-C to Mini DisplayPort adapter.

If you are referring to the Cinema Display (23-inch DVI) sold between June 2004 and August 2006, it was a DVI display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. So you'd want a USB-C to DVI adapter. (For a DVI display which had a higher resolution, a dual-link adapter would be required.)

P.S. – Whoever added the "Related Article:" link to the article about the Apple Thunderbolt 3-to-2 adapter does not seem to have been paying attention.

That adapter would not be useful for connecting either of these monitors – as should be apparent from reading the Apple Store description of the adapter, or the "Related Article" itself!
