A non-jailbroken phone cannot be hacked, get a virus, or malware.

It's a scam. No one has access to your phone. If you haven't jailbroken your phone, you don't have malware.

Hi, just a follow up - every now and then I keep getting emails about someone having access of my iPhone and them recording my activities & phone screen. TBH, I reset my phone once just to be safe. Is there a way to ensure that your iPhone is free of malware ? Also, what are the signs of the presence of malware on your iPhone ?

If you fall for a “phishing” e-mail, Web notification, message, or phone call - and give personal information or credentials to the criminals who sent the message - you can be scammed even if your phone remains virus-free.

The main defense against this is to be aware of the types of things that scammers try, and to be on your guard against them.

Like if you see a notification with a System Settings icon, saying your iPhone is infected with 100 viruses and to click here to “fix it.” Don’t! It’s a scam. The message is not from the system, but from scammers who have copied a system icon and pasted it into their Web notifications, the better to fool and scam you.
