If his device has FindMy enabled, is powered, and is connected to a network, he can log into iCloud.com/find to see the device location.

My husbands phone is misplace after emergency people took him to hospital this morning i would like to know if they returned phone to him is phone at home i am still at hospital.

IF you were both in the same Apple Family group …

… his device should normally appear in your own FindMy “Devices” already.
