My iMac won’t reboot

My iMac is telling me that it restarted because of a problem - press any key or wait a few seconds for it to reboot. It keeps repeating the same message without getting back to my screen. Please help.

Kernel panics can be caused by hardware or software issues which makes them difficult to isolate.

Try disconnecting all unnecessary USB drives and other connected devices,

then startup in Safe Mode as per > Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
