Striated horizontal lines across Retina display

My MacBook screen has striated horizontal lines across the screen. Earlier they were coming and going, initially the screened flashed a few times also, now the lines are not disappearing. I purchased this product in 2020 it's MacBook Pro, I know these devices a supposed to last a long time, can this be fixed? It was not dropped and my use is minimal - I just use it to check emails and occasionally use Microsoft word, I don't have AppleCare as it's been more than 3 years since the purchased this computer
