How to retrieve call log that was deleted from my iPhone X vm after iOS update 16.2

If you are referring to voicemail, check with your carrier. They manage voicemail. If you are referring to your Recents call list, there is no way to recover that if it is gone. Check with your carrier, most of them provide a list of calls made and received by your phone and it is available with your billing when you log into their website and your account.
