You are sign in here .  .  .  with your Apple ID & Password.

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.

You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.

What happens when you use the same Apple ID & Password that you use to sign in here?

My old Mac is running on Yosemite. I can't upgrade because the app store is telling me I have the incorrect password but it is correct. Walking the previous community member through the steps of resending the password but that won't work if it won't accept the password that you know is correct. I tried resetting the password and putting in the new password and it will not work. Just like her or him I can get into my iCloud just fine from an Android device even. Therefore confirming my password is correct. How do I get this old Mac working with all the current updates?
