I understand your frustration. Here are some things you can try to fix the issue:

  1. Check Apple's System Status Site. There may be a temporary outage affecting iCloud or other Apple services. You can check the status of Apple services here: Apple - Support - System Status

  1. Check your internet connection. Make sure that your Mac is connected to the internet and that you have a strong signal.

  1. Toggle off FaceTime and iMessages temporarily. Sometimes, these services can interfere with Apple ID sign in. To toggle them off, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Messages and uncheck the boxes next to "Enable Messages" and "Enable FaceTime."

  1. Set your Date & Time to Set Automatically. If your date and time are not set correctly, this can also cause problems with Apple ID sign in. To set your date and time automatically, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Date & Time and check the box next to "Set date and time automatically."

  1. Restart or force restart your Mac. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix software issues. To restart your Mac, hold down the Command and Option keys and press the Restart button. To force restart your Mac, hold down the Command, Option, and Shift keys and press the Restart button.

  1. Sign out of Apple ID and sign back in. This can sometimes clear up any issues with your Apple ID sign in. To sign out of Apple ID, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Apple ID and click the Sign Out button. Then, sign back in with your Apple ID and password.

  1. Reset all settings. This is a more drastic step, but it can sometimes fix problems that other solutions can't. To

If you've tried all of these steps and you're still having trouble signing in, you can contact Apple Support for help.
