IPad keyboard disappears in Mail

I agree. It's been driving me nuts and see I am not alone. I had been using an on screen keyboard many years prior to having this happen...one of the "updates" apparently having caused this glitch. Please fix.

When the on-screen keyboard seemingly disappears upon returning to the Mail App, simply tap the To or Cc/Bcc field of the currently open draft message; the keyboard should reappear.

Happens to me too. Seems like a bug that should have been fixed by now.

It has got to the point where if I have a long email, I compose it in another app such as Pages or MS Word & then copy/paste the completed email into Apple Mail. Maybe if we point out to Apple that we are having to rely on a non Apple app because of this unwanted feature in Mail, they might be embarrassed enough to fix it!!

You’re very welcome. For mail, the workaround works for me every time.

Tapping in the header works for me too, but it’s a very annoying bug that Apple needs to fix.
