Then the issue is on their side and not yours, send them this link If you can't make or receive a FaceTime call on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

I don't think it's on their side, as I can see their video and hear them, but any of the people using nonApple devices can see Apple (iPhone, iPad, Mac) users. Many of them have brand new phones and PCs, so they should be able to see us (Apple users).
