I wanna use iOS 15 on my iPhone 8+ without updating to iOS16. I can't get latest security updates.
Menu Settings->General->Software update offers me only 1 option update to iOS 16.6.
Now I have iOS version 15.7.1 and there's no way to get important security updates 15.7.8.

iOS 15.7.8 is for iPhone 6s and iPhone 7; for models that can’t get to iOS 16.
iOS 16 is the last supported version for iPhone 8 Plus.

Thanks for answering, seems there's no way to continue using iOS15 on that device.
Same here my iPhone says it’s up to date but my apps say other wise
