How to display DOTS in Calendar in my MAC

Hopefully this is a simple question for an answer but I have never been able to display a dot in my calendar view on my MAC. Just a simple way to display if something has been scheduled on a specific date. I am looking for any way to distinguish an event on a specific day versus nothing scheduled on a specific day. I would think this would be a very basic function of a calendar.

I have gone to setting under calendar looked all over setting on my MAC and can't find anything that talked about this. I am running version 13.4.1 of Ventura. I have to click on each day to figure out what took place on any given day. Please help.

Thank you

How are you entering events in your calendar? Are you putting in the title and time of the event. If so the title should show in that particular day box along with the time of the event. As for nothing scheduled for a day that box will be empty:

Ignore the typo.
