apple MacBook Air screen developing cracks for no reason
My 2 year old MacAirbook M1 is developing screen cracks on upper and lower borders despite never closing the lid on any foreign object and not having a webcam cover. I meticulously ensure the keyboard is spotless with no tiny objects or dust that could damage the screen. I also make sure to close the lid via the groove in the middle of the top of the lid. Despite all the care the screen is developing a series of small glass splinters and cracks along the top and bottom black borders. Its only a matter of time before they interfere with the pixels as luckily to date they haven't.
I'm aware that the chemicals in monitor screen-wipes can cause damage to Arsenic-free screen glass so I've only ever cleaned the screen with a damp cloth.
Does anyone have advice on what to do? Trying to use a protective screen cover is too difficult because the many tiny glass shards produce air-bubbles in the screen protector that are impossible to iron out.
