I had this happen to a friend recently and they got it fixed. Call up the bank who is issuing the checking account and demand an investigation and refund. In the meanwhile withdraw all the money from that account and create a new one and after a certain time period has passed put your money in the new account. You can also contact Apple Support for a refund on their end Apple Card also provides extra security and flexibility. However take my advice with a grain of sand as it is just some advice.
