How to change my phone number

Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details -> https://appleid.apple.com

• (Sidebar) Click Personal Information -> Reachable at -> then edit / update your trusted phone number.

I changed my phone in my AppleID account, directly erased the previous one, but it still sends the card verification code to my old number. Any ideas on how to successfully solve this?
