Apple ID not updating

I changed my apple id to a new email. and almost all devices (iPhone, 2 iPads, watch, iCloud) automatically updated. My first generation iPad Pro did not update and still has the the old Apple ID and keeps asking for the password. I have been unable to log in to the iPad Pro with the new Apple ID. Any suggestions are appreciated.
