How to take a screenshot on my iPad I’d my home button is broken.

Have you enabled the iPad’s corner-swipe gestures?


Settings > General > Gestures >

Left Corner Swipe - select Screenshot, Quick Note or Off

Right Corner Swipe - select Screenshot, Quick Note or Off


If one or other (or both) corner-swipe gestures are configured for a screenshot, simply swiping with an Apple Pencil or your finger from the corner to the centre of the screen will trigger capture of a screenshot.


To use your finger, you must also enable one other setting:

Settings > General > Gestures > Allow Finger to Swipe from Corner - set to ON
