How to get spoken directions

I just bought a Honda 2019 CRV EXL. I have a iPhone 10 xr. I was able to connect my phone to apple CarPlay but I am having trouble in Maps. I cannot get spoken voice directions.

You can manage spoken directions in Settings under Maps > Spoken directions. If that is already enabled, there is a speaker icon in maps when you have navigation active, if you tap on it, you can select if you want it to speak all directions, only alerts, or nothing. Check out the user guide for more info.
