EarPods lose Bluetooth connection when in car

EarPods turn off in car because iPhone automatically connects to the car Bluetooth. If I disconnect the Bluetooth from the car it automatically reconnects.

then neither works. Help!

It’s not Bluetooth that’s the issue. Rather, when my earbuds are connected and I get in my car my iPhone prioritizes the car Bluetooth connection and disconnects my ear pods. Even if I disconnect my car Bluetooth so that my EarPods pods will connect, my car Bluetooth reconnect on its own. So I cannot use my AirPods in the car.

how can I resolve this? Dual Bluetooth issue when in my car?
