iTunes it on Home Screen but not in settings

The iTunes app is on my Home Screen but not in settings. I used the search bar in settings and it will not pop up, it does not exist in settings.

There is no iTunes app on your iPad. There is an iTunes Store and that is just for buying music and things like that on your iPad. It isn’t the iTunes app though and therefore doesn’t have any settings that would exist to have them in the settings. iTunes is an application that you would use on your computer to be able to communicate with your iPad when it is plugged into your computer.

You cannot install iTunes on an iPad. There are no related settings for iTunes within iPad settings.

iTunes as a service was re-branded some time ago as Apple Music. At the same time, the related Apps on Mac, iPad and iPhone devices were similarly renamed.

iTunes for Windows PC does still exist - and is used to synchronise your iPad and other Apple devices with your PC.

iTunes as an App remained with Mac until its functionality was subsumed into Finder and the new Music App at which time references to iTunes disappeared.

Information about macOS Finder - and its use with iPad - can be found here:

Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your Mac - Apple Support

Locate and view your iPhone or iPad on your computer - Apple Support

If your device doesn’t appear in the sidebar when connected to Mac - Apple Support

I hope this clarification proves to be helpful - if only in providing sufficient information for you to reconsider your issue (if any) and any associated enquiries.
