Do AirPods keep charging after 100%? If so Why

My AirPods 2nd Gen keeps charging continuously after 100% is it a feature ?

When I put them in the case after using the charging starts and battery symbol in pop up menu shows that they are charging but after reaching 100%, the popup menu still shows the charging battery symbol for reference I have attached a screenshot. Is it normal for AirPods to do?

Charging AirPods After it Reaches 100% Charge:

No. Once AirPods reach 100% charged then they are 100% charged, and charging stops being performed.
