I’m locked out of my iPhone because I forgot my passcode and now to restore my phone I need to put in my Apple ID password , when I try to it just keeps loading and nothing else

Apple support have an article online that may help: eg: as your iPhone is locked, you may need to use a trusted computer if you have one listed in your Apple ID account, or try borrowing another device to use the support app.
