Hi,
I want to copy the text from a cell in Numbers into a Pages document, not a text box. Just straight into the normal text; is that possible?
I've tried copying it, but nothing happens when I paste, and the online help seems to be importing tables into Pages or using text boxes, which won't work for me on this.

Sure. Just select the text in the Numbers table cell, not the cell itself, and copy to the clipboard, then paste where you want in Pages as a text string. Copying the cell will result in a pasted table cell in Pages.

Note:
I can copy it into an email, and then copy that text into Pages with no problem, but that seems like an unnecessary step!

Thanks for the reply - that's what I was doing to no avail...I'd closed the apps and shut the Mac down but no dice.
Then I updated Pages to the latest version and it now works! My bad, thanks.
It is always a good idea to have Pages and Numbers at the same version level.
