Whenever I go to safari on my Mac and try searching for stuff, it takes me to this duckduckgo browser on my iMac but I never installed this browser.How do I get rid of it?And is it a virus?

No, it is not a virus. It is simply one of the 5 search engines available for you to choose. You can change it to Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo or Ecosia.
