apple codes are not updated

I have experienced a lot of trouble regards updates of Apple ID code in my iPhone 12. The new Apple ID code is not updated in app coded when changed in app Id place- then I tried to make another one in ‘codes and security’, it was not updated either in the app codes.

there are apparently many places to change the Apple ID code, very confusing, but not updated.

Update Apple ID Settings I'm getting a notice some account services will not be available until I sign in again. When I select continue I get a two set verification code sent to my phone via text message. When I enter the code, it says incorrect code, try again. I do with the same results. I asked for a new code with the same results with the new code. Now when I select contiue, it asks me to enter the unlock passcode for my iphone. I do not want to enter the passcode - something does't sound right. Anyone else being asked to update account codes?

Update Apple ID Settings doesn't go off Hi All, The update apple id settings notification on my phone does not go off despite entering the correct password. This thing keeps looping back to the screen asking to update Apple id settings. The verification does not fail either when I enter the apple id password as the password entered is correct. I have tried :(a) resetting the phone (b) signing out and signing back in with my apple id, but nothing seems to work to remove this notification. Need help

Apple.com code or log in code for my Apple identity code. Sorry not good at English language.
