iPhone 14 pro, ios17 - speaker and microphone stop working at 8 minutes, every call.

As this Reddit thread shows. I upgraded to ios 17, and since doing so, all calls experience the same problem at 8 minutes and 2 seconds - the microphone and speaker stop working. I cannot hear my caller; they cannot hear me. The only solution is to hang up, redial, rinse and repeat every 8 minutes and 2 seconds. No issues before installing ios17. This has been known about for some time with developer releases - what is the fix ?

My husband has the 14 plus and ever since the 17 update his speaker cuts out every 15 sec all the time during a call on speaker and during FaceTime and he has to take off speaker and turn back on to work again. I seen on Reddit that someone had same issue and tried turning the mute on and off a few times during a call and then facetime our daughter and it never cut out. I turned mute off n on like repeatedly 5-10 times maybe more honestly I’m not sure exact. lol still Apple should let us know how to fix or fix it in an update.
