Mail stopped automatically making folder suggestions when I am moving email. This happened after updating to iOS 17 on my iPhone 13.

Sure would be nice if someone from Apple would drop in on this thread. This loss of functionality sure costs a lot of time considering the mountains of email I'm sure most of us get.
This is very frustrating. there have been suggestions about which move icon to install on the tool bar. doesn't matter. neither works. is it still broken for everyone?
Mine still doesn't. do you mind if I ask a couple more questions when I figure out what to ask?
Fixed for me on iPhone after updating to iOS 17.1, and on Mac after updating to Sonoma 14.1.
My old folder suggestions are back! Yay, thanks Apple.

I’ve been “training” Mail for the last week by manually moving at least 50 messages, and it should have picked up something by now.
Me too. On iPhone since 17, and also on Mac since Sonoma. No suggestions, and system not learning my choices after several weeks.

Sure, go ahead. I use an iPhone 13 mini using Apple iCloud Mail.
Not much to thank for - am on Sonoma 14.4.1 and this does still not work. This functionality is vital for
all my work.
