All of a sudden my IPad Pro will not connect to my printer how do I fix it

I have now discovered the route of my problem, which was the vpn. Turn off the vpn and I can see my printer ok 🤷🏻‍♂️

iOS and iPadOS version 17.5 was released earlier this week. I suggest software update would be a good start to troubleshooting. It will also reboot both devices which is the other first line of troubleshooting.

I have also been unable to connect my iPhone or iPad to my Epson 2550 printer. Very annoying. But I found a fix! From the ap store own load Epson iPrint. After answering the standard questions, it will say no printer found. Click on the message. A select printer page will open. Click on manual IP. Enter your printer IP address. Mine is 10.0.0.20. If you have an Epson printer your may be the same. Otherwise you probably have to use you printer to find it. I found mine on the printer in setup mode. Go to network settings and print the status sheet. Go down all those meaningless descriptions until you see IP ADDRESS

I have done this on both my wife’s and my iPhone and iPads and they all are working as they did a year or so ago before recent Apple update.

Hi, the same thing happened to me after updating to iOS17. The issue was that the printer needed a firmware update, and once I did the update, the printing issue was resolved - hope that helps.

Ugh! This has not worked for me! Out of no where it started stalling mid print- then not finding the printer at all. I have restarted, checked WiFi connection, turned off private settings in WiFi and nothing is working. My job depends on being able to print. Please some one help!

My Epson network printer was suddenly invisible to our entire house device set (2x iMacs ; 2x iPads ;2x iPhones and 1x Windows laptop). Logging into the router, the printer was clearly visible as a wireless client. I tried many things to no avail, but the one action that fixed it was to shut down and reboot the router. All sorted.

That worked like a charm. Thank you!

I am unable to print from my ipad. For the previous 4 months my new iPad had no problems connecting with my printer and printing my daily screen shot of the Crosswords in the newspaper on my ipad
