Which MacBook Pro do you have?

If it's running Ventura, it is probably new enough to have USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) or USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) ports, in which case you can attach monitors via

  • USB-C (DisplayPort)
  • USB-C (DisplayPort) to { DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, single-link DVI, dual-link DVI, VGA } using adapters
  • Thunderbolt (mostly for 5K and 6K monitors)

If it has a HDMI port, you would be able to attach a monitor directly using a HDMI to HDMI cable.

The number, and resolutions, of monitors that the laptop can drive would depend on its specific hardware model.
