I just scanned a document on my iPhone and put it in a new note in the notes app. I opened up the same note on my computer to download, but I don't see the scan. It only shows a large gray box where it should have appeared. I have no idea what to do right now. How do I fix this?

In my experience, it sometimes takes an inordinate amount of time to sychronize completely.
Try this: close the note; open the same note in Notes on the iPhone; using Command-tab, select Notes from the iPhone:
With any luck, this may jolt things into place.
