I'm getting a suspicious activity alert that system/library/privateframeworks/synapse.framework/support/contentlinkingd is trying to change or delete a file

What you need to delete is Avast itself. AV apps are not needed and can cause system disruptions.
Remove Avast per the developer's instructions and avoid any apps that claim to make your Mac better, faster, safer and etc.
I have the same issue. Is it safe to delete the file?
Do you have Resilio Sync installed? It's my case and I do not know if it's trying to sync.
